Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience working with advertisers, agencies or clients.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in digital advertising sales, platform sales, product marketing or product/project management.
- Experience in marketing with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and third-party measurement and App platforms.
- Experience in video, display, app, and social advertising solutions.
- Experience working for or with agencies.
- Ability to lead cross-functional or heavily matrixed organizations with desired results.
- Ability to build and develop customer relationships and present solutions, win in competitive sales situations.

GMP Account Executives (AEs) are the key programmatic relationship builders and influencers across the agency to help win the hearts and minds of our agency investment decision makers, making DV360 and GMP the platform of choice. Google Marketing Platform (GMP) AEs will need to be excellent cross-functional collaborators, problem solvers, competitive sellers, and expert relationship builders.Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture strong relationships within agencies, focusing on programmatic and ad operations, to unlock significant growth opportunities and drive the adoption of GMP technology. This involves consistent engagement and strategic communication.
- Cultivate and maintain close collaborative relationships with key agency decision-makers, ensuring alignment and proactively identifying and pursuing new avenues for growth and partnership.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline for assigned priority accounts, ensuring a consistent flow of potential business and strategic opportunities.
- Create and deliver scaled account pitches for major industry events, such as upfront and unification pitches, showcasing the value proposition and driving significant client engagement.
- Lead strategic agency communications effectively addressing large-scale marketing issues, managing messaging around errors and bugs, and fostering thought leadership through speaking opportunities. This solidifies the company's position as an industry leader.
